Since 1963, Derrel’s Mini Storage has provided self-storage from Sacramento to Bakersfield and even on the Central Coast.  Founded by Derrel J. Ridenour and his son, Derrel A. Underground Crew Members

Experience in pipe fitting & laying, excavation, backfill required. Equipment operation experience a plus. Positions are for projects throughout the central California area (Bakersfield to Sacramento). Full time with benefits. All work for private development projects. Crews usually work four ten hour days per week. Travel expense and per diem compensated when travel required. Drivers License is required. Grading/Underground Crew Laborers and Equipment Operators

Grading/Underground Crew Laborers and Equipment Operators Multiple Positions. for underground and/or earthwork projects throughout the Valley. Full time with benefits. Some travel (Bakersfield) required. Motor grader, scraper, laser and/or backhoe experience desired. All work is for private development projects. The ideal candidate has experience with pipe laying for water piping including fire hydrants and/or grading work. Crews usually work four-ten hour days per week. Our Crews work full time all year long on our private development projects. If travel is required company pays for hotel (2 men per room), per diem and crew transportation in company vehicles. Travel crews work four – 10 hour days with travel time paid to and from project city. All equipment and tools furnished. Safety and Reliability is required. Benefits include employee health insurance paid by the company, vacation, paid holidays and sick time.

Equipment Operator

Equipment Operators for underground and/or earthwork operations. Multiple Positions Available. Full time with benefits. Experienced only. Projects throughout the Valley. Some travel (Bakersfield) required. Motor grader, scraper, laser and/or backhoe experience desired.

Recruiting and Training Coordinator

Derrel’s Mini Storage, Inc. is looking for a Recruiting and Training Coordinator. Under general direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Recruiting and Training Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and training of employees as well as the coordination of schedules for appropriate coverage across all facilities. This position builds applicant pools by researching and contacting community organizations, employment agencies and others and provides organization information, opportunities and benefits by making presentations and maintaining rapport. Auction Coordinator

Derrel’s Mini Storage, Inc. is looking for a full-time Auction Coordinator. Under the general direction of the Vice President of Operations and direction of the Regional Manager, the Auction Coordinator works with other Auction Coordinators to ensure the proper procedures are followed throughout the lien and auction process. This position requires travel up to 3 days per week to any one of the Derrel’s Mini Storage, Inc. facilities, including possible overnight stays. A complete job announcement can be found here.
